Cadaverous Stench Unleash 'Spared to Suffer,' Seek Label for Debut Album Reincarnation of Bloodlust

Old-school death metal outfit Cadaverous Stench have released their latest single, “Spared to Suffer,” offering a first taste of their completed 11-track debut album, Reincarnation of Bloodlust. The band is currently seeking a record label to handle the album's release, physical editions, and distribution.

MetalCrawlspace.com- Formed in early 2023, Cadaverous Stench originally set out to capture the unmistakable sound of Swedish old-school death metal, complete with the chainsaw guitar tone made famous by the Boss HM-2 distortion pedal. The band recorded its first EP that same year, although subsequent lineup changes eventually pushed its music in another direction.

As the band's lineup evolved, so did its songwriting. Cadaverous Stench began incorporating more demanding riffs and drawing increasingly from the early 1990s American death metal scene, particularly the Florida sound associated with bands like Morbid Angel, Deicide, Malevolent Creation, and Monstrosity. Suffocation and Massacre also figure prominently among the group's influences.

That evolution now forms the foundation of Reincarnation of Bloodlust, an 11-track full-length that the band describes as aggressive, dark, and rooted in traditional death metal. The record emphasizes heavy, organic production and riff-driven songwriting, with enough technicality to keep things interesting without abandoning the genre's old-school brutality.

The recently released single “Spared to Suffer” serves as the first publicly available introduction to the forthcoming album's direction.

Cadaverous Stench have also spent time building their reputation onstage, sharing bills with established underground and international death metal acts including Frozen Soul, Left To Die, Internal Bleeding, Defeated Sanity, LIK, Centinex, and Gluttony.

With recording already completed, the band is now looking for a suitable label interested in bringing Reincarnation of Bloodlust to listeners. Their goal is to secure a partner for physical formats and distribution before moving forward with the album's digital release.
