GLAE Pushes Further Into Extreme Metal With New Album 'Terror Incarnate'
The extreme metal project continues its evolution into heavier territory, with mastermind Zack Glaeser preparing to unleash his latest full-length album.

GLAE continues its descent into heavier territory with Terror Incarnate, the upcoming full-length album from the North Carolina-based extreme metal project, arriving Friday, October 30, through Broken Curfew Records.
The brainchild of multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Zack Glaeser, GLAE has steadily developed its own identity within the deathcore underground, incorporating elements of brutal death metal, technical aggression, and increasingly punishing arrangements. With Terror Incarnate, Glaeser pushes those influences further into the foreground, marking another chapter in the project's ongoing musical evolution.
Across eight tracks, the album explores themes of nihilism, war, spiritual conflict, and humanity's increasingly complicated relationship with technology. Glaeser's Christian worldview also informs the material, adding another dimension to the record's dark and confrontational subject matter.
The previously released single "Madness Iteration" gives listeners an early taste of the album's direction, showcasing the project's increasingly aggressive approach and offering a glimpse of what's coming.
When asked about the new record, Glaeser kept his assessment refreshingly brief:
"I like it!!!! I think the album speaks for itself truly."
Fair enough. Sometimes the best thing a musician can do is crank the volume and let the music handle the introductions.
With Terror Incarnate, GLAE continues carving out its place in the extreme metal underground, embracing the heavier influences that have increasingly shaped its sound.
Terror Incarnate arrives Friday, October 30, 2026, through Broken Curfew Records and will be available on digital streaming platforms and Bandcamp.
Until then, check out "Madness Iteration" below for an early taste of the album.
