MÄR to Release Debut Single “After Life”
Vancouver melodic death metal outfit MÄR introduce themselves with crushing riffs, haunting melodies and a clear nod to the genre’s Scandinavian roots.
Vancouver melodic death metal band MÄR will release their debut single, “After Life,” September 25 across all major streaming platforms.
Drawing inspiration from melodic death metal pioneers including In Flames and Children of Bodom, MÄR build their sound around sharp guitar work, aggressive vocals, driving rhythms and melody that stays lodged in the skull after the blast radius clears.
“After Life” dives into themes of isolation, death and sacrifice, pairing an aggressive pace with strong hooks and haunting lyrical imagery. The track has already become a favorite for both the band and its live audience, making it a natural opening chapter for MÄR.

The single also serves as the first taste of the band’s upcoming debut EP, scheduled for November 2026.
